Norwich sign Blackpool defender on loan

Subscribe to Football League by EmailNorwich City have completed the signing of Blackpool defender Rob Edwards on loan till the end of the season.
Edwards, 28, has made only four appearances for Blackpool in the 10/11 season, and was eager to get regular first team football under his belt. The Welsh defender was brought in by Paul Lambert to strengthen the Canaries defence following the injury problems to Leon Barnett. Before joining Blackpool, Edwards previously represented Aston Villa, Derby County and Wolves.
Edwards could make his debut in the Canaries’ fixture against Doncaster Rovers on Tuesday night.
