Bournemouth sign Stech on loan

Bournemouth have signed keeper Marek Stech on an emergency loan from West Ham United. The Cherries took special permission from the League to make the deal outside the transfer window after regular keepers Shwan Jalal and Dan Thomas were both injured.

Czech Republic international Stech has moved to Dean Court for an initial period of seven days. The 19 year old made his debut for the Cherries in their League Two game on Saturday against Morecambe. The Shrimps put five past Stech with Stewart Drummond, Craig Stanley, Laurence Wilson, Phil Jevons (penalty) and Mark Duffy scoring for the home side in a 5-0 demolition. Marvin Bartley was also sent off for Bournemouth as Eddie Howe’s side had a day to forget in Lancashire.
