Today we talk about the incidents that happened this whole week with the managers of three different teams. They say that the job of the manager is the toughest as far as football is concerned. In the next few seconds you will be well informed with the tale of the three managers.

In the last post of Football-League.net, we informed our readers about the appointment of a new manager to the Southampton Football club. Alan Pardew has been appointed as the First team manager for an initial term of three years. We also said that he was found to meet both the track and the demanding technical record criteria set by the Club. Well he seems to be doing his job well right now and we should not trouble him. He is the manager who is new on the job.

Billy Davies of Nottingham Forest made enough signings of the close of the season on Monday, but he doesn’t seem to be satisfied and he is still pouring money to build a formidable and strong team which he thinks, will end at the top of the table in the Championship. When Davies was hired for the managerial job for the Forest, he studied that what the heck was wrong with the team and why were they in a bad patch, after which Forest saved their skin by winning the three matches at the end of the Campaign. The former Derby county manager has almost exploited his options by signing prominent players to Forest like the likes of goalkeeper Lee Camp, full back Chris Gunter, midfielder Paul McKenna, winger Paul Anderson and strikers Dele Adebola and David McGoldrick.
“I’m delighted with the manner in which we’re moving forward,” Davies says after signing so many players. Only time will tell how a side full of changes can form a real team and their teamwork can only be judged on the field, not on paper.

Here is the third manager’s tale who had to quit his playing duties due to injury and concentrate on managerial duties only. The 37 year old Barnet manager Ian Hendon has retired from his 20 year long playing career. He made the decision after following the medical advice. He was recovering from a training ground ankle injury. He made more than 500 appearances for clubs like Leyton Orient, Notts County and Sheffield Wednesday. Now since he is not gonna show up in his studs on the field, he has to be in the dugout as he will now just concentrate with the managerial job and has to look into the players every day training and fitness.”When the time is right to go you have to accept it.”, say Hendon.
